Ambidextrous Inc. was the coming together of nearly 30 years of lawn service as Allen Landscaping, started in Weston, Massachusetts in 1978 by Jay Allen, and continuing with Brian and Kevin. Kevin got off to an early start in the business while in elementary school, helping out on cleanups, and giving employees their daily assignments. Upon moving to Kennebunk in 1990 Kevin continued Allen Landscaping by pushing his mower down the street looking for work. Kevin continued with landscaping through college when he took a break to get a masters degree in Mechanical Engineering. After determining that office life was not for him, Kevin returned to landscaping.
